Madonna

She has created a huge career. She has sold millions and millions of records, actually more than 300 millions.
She released her debut album in 1983. Her 12th album will be released 26th of March 2012 so quite soon! It's called MDNA, which makes reference to MDMA that is Ecstacy. She has told that this album will be a project where she's looking for the sickest, maddest and most badass people to collaborate. She told it in her Facebook December 2010. I'm waiting for the album with curiosity.

I was watching one day the Superbowl halftime show where Madonna was performing. And ended up listening the old Madonna songs, which are great. You can check the clip here.

Madonna has always had the need to stir things up. With her music videos and performances. Like in the Confessions tour hanging on a huge cross with a thorn crown. Still I feel that some of the best songs form Madonna are the older ones. I think Madonna revolutionized the pop music and has been the first lady of pop music for very long time. Lady Gaga referred to Madonna that she herself is doing now the same revolution for the pop music as Madonna did 25 years ago. Lady Gaga is one of the biggest Madonna fans as she has told. They both share the same go for your passion and work. And even if you don't like all the songs you can still see the passion and dedication behind the work.

Madonna - "Forbidden love" from the Confessions tour

A teaser from the forthcoming MDNA album.

I still up to date find this song as one of the most sad songs.
"Frozen" from Madonna.

"You only see what your eyes want to see
How can life be what you want it to be
You're frozen
When your heart's not open"
